Long Beach, CA, -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The composer of digital music known as DJ Zink has released his official debut single, “Psychic Progression.” The track is an upbeat, energetic and cutting-edge dance track to rival the very best electronic songs of the modern era. It has been proudly released on the BZ Records music label, which is home to such popular performers as DJ Brock, DJ Sam, DJ Rohit, DJ Riz, and DJ Dhruv. A whirling, driving track with attributes of the traditional European house musicians as well as the best qualities of contemporary EDM, “Psychic Progression” is a single slated to put DJ Zink and BZ Records on the map once and for all.

DJ Zink cites as main artistic influences some of the heaviest hitters of the post-2000 EDM scene, such as Avicii, Hardwell, Tiësto and Nicky Romero. As such, DJ Zink's sound is related to the tones and instrumentations of these notable giants of the dancefloor. Mixed between tracks by all four of them, “Psychic Progressions” fits in precisely. It has elements of both house and trance music, and is turning heads in the music production world for its singular build following the track's drop, which plunges the song toward its final crescendo.

DJ Zink has been paying attention to sound for many years.

“From a very young age,” he writes of his musical beginnings, “passion for music was in the blood. After years of practice and experience, I decided to get into original track production.”

DJ Zink was born and raised in West Bengal, India, as Asim Poddar. He began DJing in 2009, and soon after started performing at popular nightclubs. Having learned the fundamentals of studio music production, DJ Zink began training others in the art in 2011. “Psychic Progression” is DJ Zink's first official release.

“Psychic Progression” by DJ Zink is available online worldwide.
