The magazine fills a void in the marketplace with soul, wit, and an unwavering love for the short fiction art form. Created for the utterly modern and busy reader of today's age, the magazine combines a wide variety of stories of different lengths, is available on most e-platforms, e-readers, and online, and targets a wide spectrum of interests.
Fantasy Scroll Magazine aims to create a perfect mix of classic stories from well-known authors as well as stories from new, unpublished writers who are looking to launch their writing careers.
For example, the first issue of the magazine will feature stories from Ken Liu, KJ Kabza, and Seth Chambers, while the next few issues will feature short stories from Mike Resnick, Rachel Pollack, Piers Anthony, and many more.
"I did it because I love it," said Iulian Ionescu, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, in an interview for Six Questions For Editors by Jim Harrington when asked why he had started a new magazine. That love and passion for reading and writing, shared by the entire editorial staff, is reflected in the quality of the magazine and its high entertainment value.
