New York City Buzz Band FIXER Receives Gibson Endorsement May 25, 2005 (New York, NY): Confirming long-rumored speculation, Evan R. Saffer –
lead singer of New York City buzz band FIXER – has confirmed that the band has recently received an endorsement from Gibson.

This is the latest in remarkable achievements from this unsigned New York City band, who successfully combine the right elements of Velvet Revolver, Guns’n’Roses, The Doors, The Who, Pearl Jam, and Led Zeppelin, with a dash of New York City swagger,
attitude, and soul to create a sound all their own.

“We are very excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to work extensively with Gibson in the future,” said Saffer in a recent interview. It’s no wonder – signed, established acts have found it difficult to obtain endorsements of any kind, much less from the premiere guitar manufacturer in the world; that FIXER has managed to obtain such an endorsement as an unsigned, “independent” band suggests that the best
is yet to come for this hard-working, talented, sexy quartet.

This endorsement was made possible by Kim Chapman, Artist Liaison at Gibson’s New York City office, who first saw FIXER at a show in downtown Manhattan in late 2003. After an extensive tour of Gibson’s New York City headquarters – located in the
building that once housed the legendary Hit Factory – FIXER were thrilled to learn of the endorsement offer, which also includes access to Slingerland drums and
Baldwin pianos.

Most exciting of all, FIXER guitarist Wilson will soon be seen in a series of promotions, marketing, and advertisements for Gibson. The uni-monikered Wilson – who plays a lacquered black Gibson Les Paul Standard – will first be featured in Gibson Player, the trade publication put out quarterly by the Gibson Corporation.

Formed three years ago in New York City, FIXER – consisting of Evan R. Saffer, Wilson, bassist J Brown, and atomic drummer The Reverend Diamond Tim Newton – has recently been receiving critical and commercial praise for their latest EP, Mixing in with my Blood. Their single, “Tell No One,” is currently burning up the independent charts, and has received a remix treatment from industrial-rock DJ Ian Fford. Besides this newest endorsement, Jagermeister, Level 27 Clothing, and ForYourNymphomation.com also sponsor FIXER. An established touring band, FIXER plans to take their show to the West Coast in mid-June, with a series of dates in Los Angeles’s most premiere nightclubs, courtesy of Akasha Multimedia
