Press Release Author = Tyler Tullock

Industry = Entertainment

Press Release Summary = Fast-growing 4/4 School of Music adds new locations in Everett and Lynnwood/Edmonds.Free introductory lessons offered to new students at all locations including Bothell.

Press Release Body = Two new locations will offer time-saving
options to local families and provide top-quality instruction. The first new addition is located at 10705 19th Ave S.E.
in Everett (Silver Lake), a block and a half south of Costco. The other location is conveniently located just west of Hwy
99 and 196th Street, near the border of Edmonds & Lynnwood. These locations add to the already popular Bothell and
Alderwood (Lynnwood) music school locations. According to School Director Tyler Tullock, “The existing locations couldn’t
keep up with demand for our music programs. Also, we wanted to reduce drive time for a number of our students who
come from as far away as Marysville, Lake Stevens, and Edmonds.”

Free introductory lessons 4/4 School of Music offers a free introductory lesson to each student. This allows students to get to know the teacher and the program before starting weekly
music lessons. Tullock says, “We want each student to feel really comfortable with their teacher. Music lessons should
be fun as well as educational. The free lesson, combined with a family discount, can really add up for families with more
than one member enrolled!”

Additional teaching staff Recent additions to the 4/4 staff have included a teacher who was classically trained in Russia, one who sings with the Seattle Symphony Chorale, and another
who trained a major recording artist with Universal Records. With over 20 instructors on the staff there seems to be a teacher for everyone. School Director Tullock pointed out that the school goes to great lengths to ensure each student is matched with the teacher that best complements their musical needs. The teacher’s personality plays a big role in how well a
student does in lessons. If you have a child with a lot of energy taking lessons from a teacher that is equally as energetic,
the two will connect and the student will excel. With adults, some prefer a laid-back approach while others want a
teacher who will really push them to their musical limits. “Our teachers range from casual to really energetic, but all are extremely motivational and highly skilled. We’ve received 260 applications to teach at 4/4 since the beginning of the year. All
teachers go though our special interview & audition process. Only the best are selected to teach at 4/4!”

Why is summer the perfect time to take lessons? Students have so much time on their hands to practice and play music. The
normal distractions of the school year like homework, sports and holidays are absent. The only distraction during the summer break is usually a family vacation for a week or two and usually students enjoy taking their guitar, handdrum or portable keyboard to play around the campfire. Getting a head start on the public school music programs is another reason students
take summer lessons. 4/4 lessons give students an edge when they return to school in the fall. A third-chair student can become a first-chair player over the summer with the help of a good private music teacher and some extra practice.

Garage band classes full What’s a garage band class? “It’s three to five musicians being instructed on how to play their instruments together as a group. They play their favorite songs,
taking turns on lead vocals and lead guitar. We teach them how to have fun! We have different classes for kids, teenagers,
and adults. Invariably students think that they aren’t good enough or qualified to join a band yet. But sitting in
on a garage band class, every member joins in and has a blast. Right now all garage band classes are full but because
these classes have become so popular we will be offering more in the fall.” Please check their website www.44school.com
