The event entitled “Meet the Distillers” had long lines with festival attendees, media, and VIP’s all waiting to taste over 20 of the featured local craft distillers. Notable guest appearances included Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri of HGTV’s hit TV Show Kitchen Cousins.

“We are excited to partake in an event promoting local distilleries,” states Anthony Carrino of HGTV’s Kitchen Cousins. “I had no idea there were so many brands native to New York. As a huge fan of Whiskey I am excited to know there are grade-a quality options made right in our own backyards.”

Discovering The New York Craft Spirits Boom takes an intimate look into each of the featured distiller’s struggles, triumphs, and the decision to embark upon this journey. It is set to release on July 4, 2015 and will be widely available through retailers such as Amazon.com for $29.95. Meet the Distillers was an exclusive opportunity for festival-goers to gain first-hand knowledge on the featured craft spirits, while enjoying VIP early access to signed copies of Discovering the New York Craft Spirits Boom.
