Langley, Berks., UK, (June 10th 2005): Hitec Laboratories and Canon UK, have combined their extensive knowledge and expertise within the Document Management/Imaging Industry and are now able to jointly offer solutions aimed at cost reduction and efficiency improvements within the process of scanning, automated data capture and electronic archiving of cheques.

Hitec Laboratories, leaders in advanced Electronic Document & Compliance Management, and Canon UK, leading specialists in imaging and document delivery, have recently joined as Strategic Marketing Partners. The partnership has already generated considerable success, with the combination of Hitec’s ChequeStore software and the Canon CR180 cheque scanner. Customers are now able to accurately capture
information at speed, massively reducing the cost and time involved in this process.

Commenting on the new partnership, Jeremy Crame, CEO of Hitec commented:
