BENTON HARBOR, Mich.- Triplets Carrie, Candace and Casey Carlson’s summer vacation begins in an exciting way. Their family’s new 140-acre property in Michigan is beckoning them to come explore. What they find are two mysteries they vow to solve,
even if they are just about to enter the sixth-grade. In Kathleen Iris’ new book, Triple C Adventures: Mystery in the Woods (Book One) (now available through AuthorHouse) these triplets try to solve the mysteries that lurk in their family’s deep forests.
One day, while hiking, the 10-year-olds hear a man’s voice calling the name Helen. Shortly after, they see a little girl with long dark hair running through the woods. Who are these people? Are they real or ghosts? Searching for the supernatural, they stumble upon another mystery they know is real. They find that someone is burying large, metal cans on their property. They also discover boot prints along the stream. Between possible child ghosts and weird metal cans, these three girls have their work cut out for them this summer. Carrie, a cautious book lover;
Candace, the fun social sister; and Casey, the brave one; all use common sense and a little bit of the Internet to solve these curious happenings in the
woods. Will the girls get caught before they have a chance to reveal the mysteries? Iris was raised in southwest Michigan with two sisters who joined her in many childhood adventures. A writer since junior high school, she has always enjoyed working with children. She taught Sunday school and was a leader in the kid’s club at her church. She earned an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and later worked in the Southwest Michigan Headstart Program for several years. Iris enjoys reading, dancing, completing silk flower crafts, camping and hiking. She also has triplet daughters. Triple C Adventures: Mystery in the
Woods (Book One) is her first published novel, and she is currently completing others in this series.
