FL) The NEW Men.Com Magazine (http://www.men.com) premieres on September
19, 2005. It will have the ‘look and feel’ of a traditional
newsstand weekly magazine, but will be available exclusively on
the Internet.
The $1.3 million
investment in the domain name Men.com was a bargain, according to
Group2, LLC Chief Marketing Officer, Phil Kearney. “There
have been some recent stories about what we paid for the domain
name in 2003. We were confident then that
the name would give us a strong, recognizable brand in a cluttered
environment. And we were right. The NEW, weekly, Men.Com Magazine
has a larger footprint in the marketplace. The editorial environment
will be edgy, sharp, provocative enough to be interesting and quite
a bit more intellectually challenging than the ‘beer and babes’
offerings. ”
Editorial content
will be expanded to provide the latest news on subjects of interest
to men, as well as a 24/7 news and sports updates. The enhanced
editorial will include streaming video feeds and behind-the-scenes
news, photos and features.
The newest pod casting technology will offer visitors unique reports
from some very unusual events. Regular columns and features will
be provided by well-known journalists, authors and celebrities.
And if you’re
just looking to have a good time, you won’t find a better
place than Men.Com Magazine. You can play all the poker you could
ever want, for FREE in the exclusive Men.Com Poker Room, and test
drive some of the newest video games. Other
areas within the site will feature fantasy sports leagues, free

and reports by leading automotive journalists. Every weekly issue
