Press Release Body = Zendor, the distance selling expert is sponsoring a new Delivery Charter which aims to improve the provision of delivery services for online shoppers. The Delivery Charter is an initiative of the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG) and part of their recently launched ‘Home Delivery Trust Scheme’. It comprises a set of recommendations, guidelines and requirements for organisations
offering home delivery of goods purchased online.

Zendor, a member of the IMRG, has sponsored the Charter as part of its intention to help set the standards for safe and reliable distance shopping. Keith Jordan, Fulfilment Director of Zendor, has been a member of the IMRG’s Delivery Forum since
its inception in June 2004 and has been involved in the formation of the Delivery Charter. He comments, “Home shopping has seen drastic growth over the past few years with an increasing number of businesses trading online. This charter will act as
glue for those trading in the home shopping market, with everyone working towards and meeting the same standards for home delivery. Delivery of goods is the most important part of the online shopping process and the most difficult to get right. Ultimately, it will be the customer that wins and enjoys the benefits, but online retailers will also save costs by using better solutions and communicating more clearly with their customers”.

James Roper, IMRG’s CEO, comments, "Online shopping delivery works well most of the time, as is evidenced by UK consumers buying £1.5 billion of goods on the Internet in May 2005, 36% more than they did last year. The IMRG Delivery Charter is a major industry initiative to unite all stakeholders, including consumers, merchants and transorters, behind the task of addressing issues and solving problems associated with home delivery to their mutual benefit. The Charter will establish minimum
commitments whilst facilitating clear communication between stakeholders."

Further information on the Charter can be obtained by calling 020 7829 8376, emailing delivery@imrg.org or visiting http://www.imrg.org/. To contact Zendor for
further details on its involvement with the Charter, please phone 0161 237 4900 or email curious@zendor.com

Companies that sign up to the Charter may display the ‘Internet Delivery is Safe’ logo on their site, demonstrating their intent to enhance the home delivery experience for their customers. The Charter was launched on the IMRG website (www.imrg.org) on Friday, July 22 and will present to all stakeholders; retailers, transporters and consumers, the general outlining principles of the new initiative. IMRG members may now view the charter on the IMRG website. Details for becoming an IMRG member can be found at www.imrg.org
