Transoft Releases AutoTURN Aircraft 5 Airport design made easier by newest version of industry standard software

Transoft Solutions Inc. developers of productivity-oriented software for the Transportation community, has just released a new version of AutoTURN Aircraft – the widely used simulation tool for evaluating aircraft and vehicle movements at airport facilities. AutoTURN Aircraft 5 boasts an enhanced user interface, revolutionary new simulation tools, and vast improvements to its industry standard functionality continuing its legacy as time-saving and easy to use software.

AutoTURN Aircraft 5 now offers a revolutionary way to design with the new Oversteer Corner Path feature, which dynamically creates more realistic swept path
simulations. Based on the designer’s inputted parameters, the tool “hunts” for and draws the optimal aircraft path taking into account any oversteer that a pilot or driver would create in an actual turn. But perhaps the most unique addition to AutoTURN Aircraft 5 is the Place Offset Simulation tool that allows designers to create aircraft and vehicle simulations that automatically maintain a pre-defined
minimum offset distance.

“The goal for this version was to create a new set of tools that would effectively shorten the trial and error associated with iterative design,” says Noel Dolotallas, Marketing Manager at Transoft Solutions. “As usual we started by asking our users who came up with the idea to do complex path calculations with the click of a button. • A user friendly template generator capable of creating standard or user-defined turning templates for aircrafts and vehicles at any sweep turn angle
• Dynamic Aircraft and Vehicle turning radius display for instantaneous data
• Innovative calculator feature that determines steering lock angles based on turning radius
• An expanded and updated Aircraft library including aircraft from Airbus & Boeing as well as new commuter and Russian aircrafts
• Compatible with AutoCAD 2006 and Microstation v8.5
