Searching and finding the perfect candidate for the Director’s position at the Meritage Hotel was a challenging accomplishment. Dan Fitzgerald, Pacific Hospitality Group Vice President of Sales and Marketing stated, “Since we are opening a hotel in the food and wine capital of the world, it was a real challenge to find someone who
can live up to that level of expectation. Sean was the perfect match for the position. With a wealth of experience in high-end culinary, wine, weddings, and above all else, customer service, Sean was exactly what we were looking for.”

Dempsey will oversee Food and Beverage for the 100 units at the Meritage Hotel At Napa as well as the 100 additional suites in the adjacent timeshare. Dempsey will also be in charge of the Meritage Hotel At Napa’s Siena Grill, Reserve Wine Bar, Estate Wine Cave, as well as the largest meeting and conference space available in Napa Valley with over 14,000 square feet of state of the art meeting space.

With over 25 years of experience and excellence working with the most prestigious hotels and resorts in the “Food and Wine Capital” of the nation, Dempsey is recognized as an innovator and leader among hospitality professionals and meeting planners. He was Director of Catering and Conference Services for Meadowood Napa Valley, and Catering and Conference Services Manager for Silverado Resort.
