This year’s medium-sized business award sees activemeta.net as one of the biggest winners with six individual awards. The company based in Meerbusch is the main winner of the 14.000 Euro Pollack Software GmbH sponsor award and is prizewinner in five other categories.

The initiative “Mittelstandsprogramm 2004” offers prizes totalling 1,2 Mio. Euro to medium-sized companies who want to support innovative business ideas with novel software tools. These software solutions as well as complimentary training are beeing awarded to enhance customer acquisition, customer relations and cost-effectiveness, thus strengthening the competitive ability of the prizewinners.

Presentation of the prizes took place on May 13th 2004 at the “Midvision” fair for IT-solutions in Karlsruhe. activemeta.net general manager Oliver Tschirdewahn was present to receive the prizes. “The fact that activemeta.net belongs to the winners in six categories shows once again that our business concept clearly distinguishes itself”, states Tschirdewahn. “We will use the new technical possibilities that the awards enable us to implement to improve our services even further.”

The company was founded in 2001 by general manager Oliver Tschirdewahn. The following two years were dedicated to product development.
