Release Body = A NEW website dedicated to photography will allow
photographers to showcase their portfolios to buyers across the
world and network with top photographers.
www.onlinephotographers.net
has been developed by 22-year-old photographer Andrew Hardman
to provide photographers with an essential toolkit to promote and
improve their work.
The
site includes the latest photography news and events, the ability
to showcase professional portfolios to a worldwide audience next
to some of the world’s top photographers and a social photo
sharing and networking facility which allows photographers to receive
comments and reviews from the site’s users on their photographs.
Over
100 big name photographers have already signed up to the site including
Bryan and Cherry Alexander, who has been crowned BBC Wildlife Photographer
of the Year, and Pulitzer Prize-winning celebrity photographer Brian
Smith.
Andrew,
who specialises in wildlife photography, said: “The Online
Photographers website is an interactive one stop shop for photographers,
photo buyers and interested users.
“It
aims to be the internet’s main information portal for photography
and allows users to rate and review anything from photographs, portfolios,
articles and news as well as adding relevant articles on industry
news and photography.
“Highlights
of the website include My Portfolio where photographers can showcase
their portfolio in a user friendly format and sell them to a worldwide
audience commission free.
“My
Site allows photographers to create a customised website which is
Search Engine Optimisation friendly, and members can share their
pictures in the My Photo section and receive advice, comments and
support from like minded photographers.
“The
website ranks highly on the main search engines and is fast becoming
the first stop for people with a genuine interest in photography.”
