LAN
recently completed the renovation of its Mistral VIP Lounge at
Arturo Merino International Airport in Santiago, Chile. The purpose
of the lounge is to provide passengers with a modern and comfortable
place to rest while enjoying a select buffet that includes both
hot and cold meals to enjoy prior to flying. Alongside the buffet,
passengers will find LAN’s exclusive wine selection, part
of the Premium Business Class onboard wine menu.
The
lounge is available for people starting their journeys from the
airport or those taking
flights to Santiago as a connecting flight to elsewhere. The
lounge contains not only a resting area, but also a hydro massaging
shower, wireless internet technology, a business centre and a
wide variety of publications, including newspapers and magazines,
both national and international. The lounge also offers a designated
smoking room.
Designed
by renowned Chilean designer Luis Fernando Moro the design incorporates
contemporary, simple and pure lines that highlight the architectural
uniqueness of the place. The colours for the cloth and curtains
were specially chosen to give the room a warm and attractive atmosphere
while separators were brought in to provide passengers with more
privacy. The lounge also has a mix of photographs, sculptures
and paintings created by some of Chile’s most famous artists
that complement the modern look.
Armando
Valdivieso, LAN’s Passenger division’s general manager,
said: "We have completely redesigned the Mistral VIP lounge
to offer a modern and comfortable atmosphere, where specially
designed armchairs offer maximum comfort and rest while our staff
provides you with the best service for those who travel for business
or for pleasure. Everything was taken into consideration to ensure
a comfortable and pleasant stay as part of our passenger’s
travel experience with LAN."
Service
at our VIP lounges is delivered by a team of professionals dedicated
to providing a personalised style of service which has distinguished
the airline internationally.
