Lottery.co.uk Launches Free Lottery Checker Tool

Lottery.co.uk, the most popular independent lottery web site in the UK, has launched a brand new Lottery Checker tool that enables players to check their tickets faster and more conveniently than ever before. Since the launch of the National Lottery in the UK in 1994, players have missed out on prizes worth millions of pounds by failing to meet the 180 days claim deadline, and it is hoped that the new Lottery Checker will help to reduce the number of unclaimed prizes in the future.

The new Lottery Checker tool is easy to use because it presents the player with a new visual interface that shows the lottery numbers 1 to 49. The player simply clicks on the six numbers that they would like to check and once more on a Check My Ticket button. A new screen then appears that shows the player exactly how many of their numbers have been matched in previous draws.

The most recent draw is displayed first, but the player can scroll down to see the lottery results for the last six months. Results are limited to the last six months because winning tickets for lottery draws that took place before that will no longer be valid for claims purposes. Any winning draw is highlighted so the player can quickly identify the size of prize that has been won.

Many lottery players are in the habit of entering the same set of numbers repeatedly, and to make life even easier for those players, Lottery.co.uk offers a free Automatic Ticket Checker service. This allows players to enter any set of numbers that they want to keep track of (or several sets of numbers if they play several tickets) and provides access to a customised results screen whenever they log into the free service. Once the initial settings have been saved, this Automatic Ticket Checker makes it possible to check several dozen tickets in just as little time as it takes to check one.

In addition to the main checker for the Lotto game, there are similar Lottery Checker tools at Lottery.co.uk for those who play the EuroMillions, Thunderball or Daily Play games. These work in exactly the same way as the main checker, and allow all lottery players in the UK to benefit from the free Lottery Checker service no matter which game they play.
