The UK’s biggest investor in live entertainment, spending in excess of £10m annually, Butlins entertainment for 2010 looks even better than ever. There are loads of new and exciting things for the 1.5m guests who visit the Bognor Regis, Minehead, and Skegness beachside Resorts, every year. With 2010 bookings already up 11% year on year British holiday makers give the seal of approval to a Butlins break.

A Butlins break is the perfect antidote to the Election Mania we all know will invade our lives from now until the General Election. Put political broadcasts, canvassing and babies being kissed out of your mind while you enjoy the modern, airy accommodation, top quality facilities and vast array of live entertainment that make up a Butlins break.

The host of fantastic new family entertainment for 2010 includes:

  • Thomas and Friends – exclusive to Butlins with a spectacular live show, plenty of surprises and lots of new Thomas-themed activities
  • Brainiac Live – the hugely popular Sky One show is coming live to Butlins, bringing the weird and wonderful world of science to kids and adults alike
  • Guinness World Records – guests can set a new world record and get their names into the Guinness World Records book
  • Baby Loves Disco – a fun filled dance party featuring real music spun and mixed by DJs guaranteed to get those little booties moving and grooving
  • High Ropes and Climbing Wall – due to the popularity of the High Ropes and Climbing Wall at Bognor Regis and Minehead Butlins has built a brand new one at Skegness
  • Live coverage of World Cup 2010 – don’t miss a moment with live coverage of World Cup 2010 at every Resort

Butlins ‘Summer of Discovery 2010’ will encourage kids to broaden their horizons and leave behind their comfort zones as they ‘Discover More’ this summer. From archery and circus skills to trampoline and basketball, the kids will have the time of their lives with over 50 activities at no extra cost as part of a summer holiday at the popular holiday park (some activities incur a small charge. Activities and facilities vary depending on the Resort)

Parents will delight as their little ones enjoy breakfast with Bob the Builder, get fit with Pingu and pirouette with Angelina Ballerina. Meanwhile, bigger kids can branch out into activities such as fencing, archery and, for the most daring, the Climbing Wall, High Ropes and Zip Wire – all designed to heighten their sense of achievement and boost their self-confidence.

During peak season (July to November), parents will receive free Butlins Discovery Cards for their children, which will be stamped for every exciting new activity tried. Just five stamps on their card and the little discoverers will be presented with a souvenir Butlins Discoverer pin badge they’ll be proud to show off when they get home – plus parents will have the perfect picture opportunities for the family album.

For those who love a bit of pampering the Spas at Bognor Regis and Skegness offer adults the chance to chill out whilst the kids are kept busy. Both have saunas, steam rooms and hydrospa as well a choice of treatments. Skegness also has a 20m pool whilst Bognor Regis has one of only two Snow Caves in the UK as well as an outdoor hot tub offer a comforting soak whilst listening to the sea lapping on the shore.
