Heathrow’s newly refurbished Terminal 4 now has a brand new store that will not only whet the appetite of many a travel shopaholic with it’s designer luggage offerings, but as the only excess baggage shipping company at Heathrow, will also appeal to the practical traveller.

February 27, saw the launch of the Excess Baggage Company’s flagship retail store at Heathrow. This new store joins the six other excess baggage drop-off and shipping points, left luggage locations and retail outlets that are to be found in each Heathrow terminal.

Excess Baggage Company is no stranger to Heathrow having launched their first location in Terminal 3 back in 1991. Since then they have grown into one of Europe’s largest and most reliable excess luggage shipping companies, carrying more than 50,000 shipments each year to destinations around the globe.

This new store is the only one selling luggage on the UK side of customs, and with an extensive range of designer and more affordable luggage, rucksacks, handbags and other travel accessories for sale, the Excess Baggage Company store is the new fashion central of Terminal 4. Dakine, Carlton, CAT, Swiss Gear, Eminent, Trunki & Jump luggage is available along with Fiorelli, Charlotte Reid and luxury bags from the Hempleman Collection.

Excess Baggage Company are also delighted that their new store was chosen to be the venue for the UK launch of Barcelona brand Slang with their chic range of handbags and holdalls.

Alongside the designer retail selection, there are three other excellent reasons to visit the new Excess Baggage Company store:
1. For the baggage shipping service
2. For packaging materials
3. For the secure bag-wrapping facility

Baggage Shipping
We’ve all experienced the frustration of discovering that we’re over our airline appointed luggage weight limit, and being presented with a simple choice of paying the extra charge or leaving the bag. Excess Baggage Company offers an alternative, professional, affordable shipping solution for your excess luggage. Simply drop into any one of their seven locations at Heathrow and they can arrange for the delivery of your bags to their destination.

Packaging Materials
Everything you’ll need to securely pack your items to make sure that they are safe when transported is available at the new Excess Baggage Company store. Boxes, tape, bubble wrap and other packing materials supplied to industry standards.

Bag Wrapping
The new flagship store has two bag-wrapping machines that can secure your luggage against the most determined tamperer or the possibility of opening while in transit. Ask the staff to help or to explain the benefits of bag-wrapping.

Excess Baggage Company’s new Terminal 4 store - the one stop shop for all your luggage requirements is located adjacent to Check-in Zone A&B and next to WHSmith. Whether you have excess baggage that you need shipping to Europe or shipping to Australia, Excess Baggage can help you and your belongings arrive safely.
