Formula 1 event guide looks in its crystal ball for who will emerge from the
Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Circuit as true title contenders for both the
drivers and constructors championships.
PHUKET,
8 October, 2010 - HotelTravel.com's Formula 1 event guides turns its attention
to the pivotal Japanese Grand Prix (from 8 to 10 October) and correctly predicts
this race will be crucial in deciding F 1's biggest prizes, the individual driver
and team championships.
HotelTravel.com
Chief Information Officer, Olivier Dombey, said the company's Japanese
Grand Prix event guide offered compelling coverage on two of the hottest
issues in Formula 1 today.
"This
year both Formula 1's drivers' and the constructors' titles are really going
right down to the wire.
"Its
fantastic that the feature coverage on the HotelTravel.com Formula 1 event guide
highlights how the Japanese Grand Prix will again play a pivotal role as the
tile decider, and that it could be Michael Schumacher's last race at the Suzuka
Circuit," Mr Dombey, said.
Heading
into the Japanese Grand Prix Red Bull's Mark Webber leads a tight pack in the
drivers competition with 202 points with only 25 points separating him from
the number five driver, McLaren's Jenson Button. The constructor's title chase
is equally as dramatic; with leaders Red Bull Racing followed closely by McLaren
and Ferrari with all holding legitimate title aspirations.
Michael
Schumacher is one driver who obviously will not be competing for any titles
this year. His first formula one team boss, Eddie Jordan, recently went on record
as saying he was unimpressed with his performance to date during the 2010 season.
Mr Jordan gave the then young driver Schumacher his first cockpit ride in 1991,
has been among the 41-year-old German’s staunchest critics so far this
season.
Away
from this gripping season ending drama, HotelTravel.com also invites all Formula
1 fans to look through its Nagoya
hotel promotions page, with rates starting from as little as only US$ 59
per night. It is packed with awesome hotels deals offering savings of up to
75% off regular rates.
Mr
Dombey said: “We are delighted with the amount of interest our HotelTravel.com
Formula 1 event guide continues to generate. The positive feedback we have received
has come from both customers and race fans alike. All things being equal the
content driven guide has struck just the right balance, proving both fun and
informative in equal measure.
"Our
editorial team is gearing up for what promises to be an extremely interesting
final two months of the 2010 Formula 1 campaign," he added.
