Excess Baggage, the leading name in left luggage and baggage shipping, has opened a new UK site in London’s Westfield shopping centre.

The company has been offering baggage solutions at airports and railway stations for the past 25 years and now deals with 2.5 million pieces of luggage annually. Excess Baggage’s latest venture will provide shoppers visiting the one of the capital’s major retail locations with a safe and secure place where they can store their unwanted bags.

The new store will come under the company’s Cloakroom.Co. brand and will offer the perfect left baggage solutions, whether people are looking to drop off a bag before a day’s shopping, or need to offload some new purchases half-way through the day.

And as Excess Baggage is one of the UK’s most experienced shipping companies, it is also possible to organise for belongings to be delivered direct to your home, hotel or to an address on the other side of the world.

David Elliott, Chairman at Excess Baggage, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our range of home delivery, shipping, and left luggage/cloakroom services to Westfield shoppers, and look forward to making people’s trip to the shops that little bit easier.

“Excess Baggage is one of the few shipping companies which has a vast amount of experience looking after other peoples belongings, whether that involves storing them at a location in the UK for a few hours, or organising shipping to Australia.”

The new outlet is open between 10am and 9pm Monday to Wednesday, between 10am and 10pm on Thursdays and Fridays, between 9am and 9pm on Saturdays and between 12pm and 6pm on Sundays. Introductory prices start at £2 per item stored for up to three hours.
