Guoman Hotels' Royal Horseguards Hotel Appoints New Wedding Planner

Guoman Hotels has announced the appointment of Laura Ramella as wedding and special events manger.

Ramella joins the London hotel group heading up the wedding team at flagship five-star property, The Royal Horseguards hotel.

With over seven years of industry experience, Ramella will be on hand to plan and organise every couple's special day within the impressive buildings of One Whitehall Place; the hotel's adjoining banqueting rooms. Ramella's previous experience spans across a similar role for St Martin's Lane and The Sanderson, Hilton Park Lane and Hilton London Olympia – all of which made her the perfect fit for the role.

Anna Dowling, general manager, The Royal Horseguards hotel commented: "Laura's passion for her work really shines through and her experience and expertise will no doubt help cement The Royal Horseguards and One Whitehall Place as one the key wedding venues in London."

The Royal Horseguards offers a wedding venue in One Whitehall Place. The Grade 1 listed building features lofty ceilings and chandeliers and the largest free-standing marble staircase in Europe, as well as views overlooking the River Thames and the London Eye – a unique backdrop for a wedding in the capital.

The Royal Horseguards is the five-star property of the Guoman collection, which currently boasts four landmark properties as well as a recently-launched property in Shanghai.
