New Facebook Search App for Car Hire Launched By Carrentals.co.uk

In more than 15,000 locations, car hire searchers can use Facebook to find the best deals from the leading hire car comparator

20 May 2011 – To build its online presence on the number one social media platform, car hire price comparison site Carrentals.co.uk has launched a new Facebook app to help people find the best hire car deals in more than 15,000 global locations.

The app has the added convenience of filling in the customer's email address, currency, country of origin and age automatically (although they can be edited), which makes it easier and faster to find the best prices.

The company developed the app in-house and it has all of the features the website does, such as vehicles, currencies (US$, GB£, AU$ and Euros), and checks up to 50 hire car suppliers to compare prices and availability.

“Creating a Facebook app is an excellent business move for us, as social media sites such as Facebook help people find places to go to on holiday and it's the most popular website on the web.
