At the heart of the sprawling Bois de Boulogne on the outskirts of the city, the 28th annual Festival Chopin à Paris is preparing to host another spectacle of classical music in one of the beautiful corners of Paris.

This year, La Société Chopin à Paris is also celebrating the work of Franz Liszt, with most recitals showcasing pieces by both men. Other works from famous composers such as Mozart, Prokofiev, Beethoven and Rachmaninov will also feature.

The event runs from June 18th to July 14th, with concerts taking place on selected dates throughout this period.

Highlights include an evening of Chopin and Liszt from some of the world's most promising young pianists, and a special children's day featuring workshops and a short film.
