MANCEF announces the addition of two new strategic partnerships. EuroTraining & GMM have signed MOU’s (memorandum of understanding) to further the mission of commercialization education of Micro/Nano technologies.

Eurotraining & GMM join the growing family of MANCEF partners committed to producing conferences, educational training sessions, international trade shows, seminars and
internet-based electronic forums focusing on Micro and Nanotechnology, including commercialization educational opportunities utilizing such technology.

Press Release Body = The establishment of Partnerships with other organizations is a key element in fulfilling the Foundation’s objective of building an international MNT community focused on commercialization education. MANCEF aims to work with organizations that have similar goals, particularly where complimentary and common purposes are identified.

David Tolfree, chairman of the MANCEF Partnership Committee, is keen to strengthen our affiliations in Asia Pacific & Latin America, as well as seeking out additional
organizations globally.

EuroTraining
Eurotraining is a joint European partnership enhancing European industrial competitiveness in the global market. It offers 2500 training courses and operates a Microsystems university service for web-based Masters Degree courses in Europe. The EuroTraining team consists of Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Consorzio per la Ricera e Educazione Permanente (COREP), Technology for Industry Limited (TFI) and Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE).

GMM (The Society of Microelectronics, Micro and Precision Engineering (VDE/VDI GMM).

GMM is backed jointly by the VDE and the VDI. It was founded in 1996. It is organized into 10 specialist divisions, and currently has 9,200 members. Covering the following technological areas: Microelectronics, Precision Engineering,
Microsystems and Nanotechnology.
