October 29, 2012, 12:53 pm -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle - who last year announced his retirement from stand-up is returning to the mic with his incendiary brand of humour. His new show, The Last Days of Sodom' comes to the Hammersmith Apollo from November 8th -11th.
Boyle has been the enfant terrible of the comedy world since the early noughties, graduating from the emcee role at Glasgow's The Stand comedy club to prime-time television on panel show Mock the Week, and his own inflammatory Channel 4 series, Tramadol Nights'.
He's not for everyone, but hardcore fans will be delighted at the caustic Scot's return to the stage. Gig-goers can expect the usual boundary-pushing dark humour over the three night run, which forms a small part of a nationwide tour. In line with his fearsome reputation, tickets to the show will cost £25.
The Hammersmith Apollo is one of the capital's largest all-seater venues, with a 3,600 strong capacity for seated shows. Renovated in 2002, it remains one of the country's major comedy venues, as well as hosting everything from Riverdance to the latest touring bands.
