-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- EisnerAmper LLP today announced the appointment of Peter Bible as the firm’s Chief Risk Officer (CRO), a new position, effective immediately. In making the announcement, Charly Weinstein, EisnerAmper CEO, said “The increased demands and expectations from regulators, compliance organizations and our clients convinced us that we will better serve these constituencies by formalizing the responsibilities for risk management under Pete’s leadership. Pete’s record of achievement, integrity and intelligence make him the right person to take on this important new role.”

As CRO, Pete will be responsible for managing the firm’s liability exposure and will work closely with the firm’s Professional Practices Group to ensure compliance with the firm’s quality control policies. “EisnerAmper has enjoyed significant growth in the past several years and we recognize that the evolving and increased demands of risk management make this a timely and thoughtful step for the firm to take,” Pete said. “EisnerAmper has an outstanding record in terms of risk management and I look forward to maintaining that standard going forward.”

Pete will retain his current responsibilities as head of EisnerAmper’s Assurance Practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania; as well as his position as Co-Chair of the firm’s Public Companies Practice.
