A feast of superheroes and comic strips come to the ExCEL Centre on London’s Docklands

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Holy smokes Batman! This February 2013, US favourite the Super Comic Convention has decided to launch a sister project across the pond. And looking at the line up comic fans around the country will be delighted.

Those looking to meet the legends, root around and find some old classic comics, or get hold of the latest releases, will be the first to sign up for tickets to this mega convention which has already proved a massive hit across the Atlantic.

Running across two days, from 23rd to 24th February, London Super Comic Convention welcomes some legends of the field, including Neal Adams, responsible for rescuing Batman from the campy TV show of the 60s and transforming him into his present persona.

Also in attendance will be J Scott Campbell, known for his exceptional work on the cover of the Amazing Spider-man and Simone Bianchi, who found his big break in 2004 when he worked on Grant Morrison's Seven Soldier: Shining Knight.

Tickest for one day entry cost £17.50; or secure a pass for the whole weekend from £25. If you just can't wait for the regular queues to let in, you can get a weekend pass with early entry for £30.

And when it comes to finding a place to stay, LondonTown.com is on hand to source cheap London hotels. The Novotel London Excel Hotel, next door to the convention on London's Docklands, has doubles for £116 57% off normal asking price. Alternatively try the Ibis London Docklands for £105. http://www.LondonTown.com
