-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Icelandic ambient post-rockers Sigur Ros will play three dates at Brixton Academy as part of a world tour this March. Led by singer-songwriter JonsiBirgisson, the band perform their unique brand of atmospheric music for fans, calling on their extensive back catalogue as well as tracks from latest album Valtari.

The foursome are currently touring the globe along with an eleven-piece band to help them realise their sweeping, epic sound. So far they've wowed fans in Munich, Brussels, Paris and Lille, and will follow the London shows with jaunts across the US, Canada, Japan, China and South Korea, before returning to Europe for more gigs throughout the summer.

The massive tour closes in Britain with a spot at the End of the Road Festival in Dorset on August 31st. Support comes from the UK's own Blanck Mass, solo project of Fuck Buttons frontman Benjamin John Power, whose music was featured as part of the 2012 London Olympics.

The Brixton Academy shows run from March 7-9, with tickets costing around £30. HotelMap.com has announced details of discounted London hotels close to Brixton Academy, available exclusively to fans booking through the site.
