-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Africa is a continent worth to be discovered, it's full of adventure, business, cultures and a lot to see, learn and experience. Tours to Africa have been made easy due to the connection ability with the major airlines into most African countries. The major economies being Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, Uganda and upcoming Rwanda.

The best airline hubs are Nairobi, Johannesburg, Cairo and Casablanca.

Kenya safaris are the most sought after in the world for a long period of time. If you haven't taken and Kenya Wildlife Safari then you have been left out in a lot of good things to do and see. Nairobi travel sites and activities have been made easy by tour operators where you can book online before you arrive and this makes it easier on E-commerce to book a Kenya Safari Tour.

Real travellers, telling the real story! for more testimonials please read some reviews on cruzeiro-safaris.com trip advisor page.

The Maasai Mara road has been a subject of debate for a long time wondering why it cannot be repaired. This road turned happiness from nightmare as a result of an active Narok county council government which has done due diligence to one of the most lucrative sectors of tourism. This road is now okay and smoother, though still being an all weather road..well something good has happened. This becomes easy for the travelers who would want to visit the Lake Nakuru National park connecting from Maasai Mara and those who would just want to a 3 days Maasai Mara Safari by road.

The safaris in Kenya range from 1 to 17 days with the most popular being safari ndovu elephant' 6 days for people who have a short time and want to see more. One may arrive on early morning flights and leave on late evening flights thus not incurring any Nairobi hotel accommodation costs.

Business travellers time is very valuable and a selection of flying packages to the Maasai Mara National Reserve are offered or the Nairobi city tours for travellers staying in Nairobi and Mombasa City Tours for travellers staying in Mombasa and Malindi. Groups travel or single travellers can always join for January, February, March, July, August, September, October, November and December for the 6 day safari to the Aberdares, Lake Nakuru National park and Maasai Mara National Park. April, May and June are considered low season why? Because it's the rainy season and animals will have migrated to the south of the Maasai mara that is into Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. During this time Kenya receives a lot of educational (students and youth) and missionary groups because the prices for the lodges and camp in Maasai Mara are very low. However, its important to note that there are other major national parks and reserves in Kenya that one can visit such as Amboseli, Tsavo West and East, Samburu, Sibiloi, Marsabit, Kakamega, Lake Nakuru , Hells Gate, Aberdares, Mount Elgon and many others. All these parks have their distinct values and none is like the other. For example Aberdares National park has a good forest cover and has also a study site where research on forests is done. At their center in Kiandongoro the Kenya Forest Service and Research Institute (KEFRI) runs projects on study of various trees, there is also a nursery center and other tree plantation. Driving further in the forest after the electric fence mounted by the Rhino ark a lodge is coming up know as Ndongoro Eco- lodge and will service to accommodation the scientist plus other travellers. This area is assessable through Nyeri and is rich for tea and coffee growers. Finally, one can exit on either gates to Naivasha spend a night and proceed to the Maasai Mara or Spend the night at Sangare Farm house and then drive through the park exit at Naivasha and proceed to Maasai Mara. Please note this can be a long journey and it's recommended to carry packed lunch, assuming you have water already.

A new adventure has just been introduced into the market and that is Gorilla tracking accessing from Rwanda. Unlike in the past where most of the safaris have been from Uganda, it's now possible to squeeze a 2-3days safari package to Rwanda and track the gorilla from there. In addition Kenya Airways and Rwanda Air have flexible flights to Kigali, Rwanda. Packages vary throughout the year and it's recommended to book and pay early because very few permits are issued per day. First come, first served. It is also important note that Rwanda is one of the fast growing economies in greater East Africa and most Rwanda citizens speak fluent French.

Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) market cannot be ignored in Kenya. MICE in Kenya is growing rapidly with new hotels coming up and more innovative themes being realised in the world. Kenya has the capacity to hold meeting of upto 7000 people - but while that number is expected to rise Logistics give most headache to organisers. These include: includes; airfares, airport reception and transfers to hotels, hotel accommodation, pre and post meeting safaris and excursions, Public address, Partitions etc.

While on Safari there are activities that one can do for example visiting a Masai or Samburu village. These 2 are known to be cousins despite one living on the north and one in the south.

Kenya is also a golfers paradise with most golf course owners making millions out of it. Most are members club and charge hefty fees to join well it's a rich mans game as we know it. It would be good to note that one can combine their golfing skills with safari. An interesting program read across is the Diamond Golf Safari presenting the green carpet holiday costing between USD5800 and USD6200 per person depending on the season.

Being your first time in Kenya it is important to respect the culture of the people of Kenya and the Park rules and wildlife code stipulated below:

Park Rules

Wildlife Code

•  Respect the privacy of the wildlife, this is their habitat.

•  Beware of the animals, they are wild and can be unpredictable.

•  Don't crowd the animals or make sudden noises or movements.

•  Don't feed the animals, it upsets their diet and leads to human dependence.

•  Keep quiet, noise disturbs the wildlife and may antagonize your fellow visitors.

•  Stay in your vehicle at all times, except at designated picnic or walking areas.

•  Keep below the maximum speed limit (40 kph/25 mph).

•  Never drive off-road, this severely damages the habitat.

•  When viewing wildlife keep to a minimum distance of 20 meters and pull to the side of the road so as to allow others to pass.

•  Leave no litter and never leave fires unattended or discard burning objects.

•  Respect the cultural heritage of Kenya, never take pictures of the local people or their habitat without asking their permission, respect the cultural traditions of Kenya and always dress with decorum.

•  Stay over or leave before dusk, visitors must vacate the Park between 6.00 p.m. - 6.00 a.m. unless they are camping overnight. Night game driving is not allowed in the parks however some reserves and conservancies do allow upon having acquired special licenses.
