LOS ANGELES, CA, -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Mike Case in: The Big Kiss Off the new film noir comedy, swept the major awards at the Hollywood & Vine Film Festival.

The ensemble comedy won the top prize, the prestigious Grand Jury Prize, while Justin Baird garnered Best Director, Les Mahoney was named Best Actor in the lead role of Mike Case, and Edward Tex Miller's all original music won Best Score.

Largely improvised in the style of Christopher Guest, Mike Case in: The Big Kiss Off is about Mike Case, a low-rent private detective who works out of his car and advertises on Craigslist. When hired by the sexy yet unstable socialite Victoria Billows to find her missing husband, Lennie, Mike finds himself face to face with raving lunatics, new age con artists, and, of course, beautiful women.

Mike Case:  Honest enough to trust. Crooked enough to get the job done.
