NEW YORK, February 19, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- New York Jazz Academy has announced registration for its eight-week long Jazz summer camps called Summer Jazz Intensives’. The Workshops will be held from July-August, 2014. Aspiring Jazz students can avail this opportunity by enrolling themselves to attend the workshop. Applications received before March 15, 2014 will receive priority consideration.

• Workshop Ends: August 29, 2014 (Friday).

The New York Jazz Academy started this specialized workshop with an objective of providing opportunities and good exposure to prospective Jazz students of all ages and levels through a structured and creative learning model.
This workshop is useful for both teen and adult vocalists and instrumentalists who have Jazz music insight, as they will learn through reading and improvising through ensemble performances. This will help the attendees understand the harmony, melody, and rhythm of this unique genre of music. Some of the finest educators and Jazz musicians will conduct these workshops. Besides learning and performing, students will connect with the pulses of both modern and classic Jazz forms. They will witness various Jazz performances and visit historical sites in New York City and interact with the eminent personalities of this music genre. Both members and non-members can enroll for this workshop. They can register themselves for one week or multiple weeks.
