What: In the history of the University of Florida, John Crossman becomes the 136th Honorary Alumnus to be elected by the Board of Directions of the Association for this distinction. Individuals are nominated by various sources, including College Deans, Development Officers, etc. and are awarded with certificate commemorating their approval as an Honorary Alumnus. John joins University of Florida icons such as, Urban Meyer, Jeb Bush, Ron Zook, Billy Donovan, Jeremy Foley, Galen Hall, and Pat Summerall.

Why: John Crossman has rendered outstanding service to the University of Florida by not only speaking to college students on how to prepare for a successful career in Real Estate year after year, but fundraising more than $50,000 with a $25,000 match from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation.
