Dubai, United Arab Emirates, -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Sennheiser, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of microphones, headphones and wireless transmission systems, today announced the availability in the Middle East of its SpeechLine microphone range. The new microphones are specifically designed to deliver excellent speech intelligibility and to provide ease of use making them ideal for teleconferencing, meetings, lectures, presentations and speeches. These products supplement Sennheiser's strong portfolio of solutions for the government, corporate, hospitality and education sectors.

“Our Integrated Systems microphone portfolio is now rounded up by on table and installation boundary layer microphones along with new and improved table stands that will prove to be the new industry benchmark,” said Mig Cardamone, Director of Sales and Marketing at Sennheiser Middle East.

“The SpeechLine range picks up and reproduces the spoken word in the most accurate manner allowing its users to focus on the meeting or presentation without a second thought about the audio system. Whether the deployment scenario calls for wired or wireless, digital or analogue, this comprehensive range of easy to integrate and unobtrusively designed microphones will always meet and surpass expectations,” he added.

Sennheiser's SpeechLine range consists of the MEB, MAT and MAS product lines that provide excellent speech intelligibility at an unbeatable total cost-of-ownership. Available with omnidirectional or cardioid characteristics, these microphones are rugged and unobtrusive and are insensitive to RF interference.

The compact MEB 102 / -L and MEB 104 / -L boundary layer microphones fit any style of interior and can be easily installed into surfaces such as tables or ceiling tiles, while the MEB 114 / -S microphone is sturdy and suitable for on-table usage such as in audio conferencing systems. In its -S version, it additionally features a programmable microphone button (PTT, PTM, toggle on/off, permanent on), and a bi-color LED ring for status indication.

The MAT 133 is a table stand which provides a solid ground for XLR3 gooseneck microphones. The MAT 133-S further provides a convenient microphone button that is featured with a bi-color light ring for clear visual feedback

Finally, the Sennheiser SpeechLine product range is rounded up by the elegant and small MAS 1 microphone button which is powered by the MAS 133 versatile XLR inline switch box for integrated microphone solutions. The MAS 113 can control any XLR-connected microphone using switchable microphone modes- PTT, PTM, toggle on/off, permanent on.

“Easy operation and clear speech intelligibility are perhaps most popularly embodied in the characteristically shaped Sennheiser ME 36, which can be seen on virtually every TV news program. Our customers will find that we have built these highly desirable characteristics into every microphone of the versatile SpeechLine portfolio. This quality together with the attractive pricing is why we expect to see this become a standard piece of equipment in conference rooms and lecture halls across the Middle East,” said Cardamone.
