Springfield, MO, June 17, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- In an effort to provide kids across the globe with an interactive adventure story, one of the nation’s top app creation companies has released an interactive adventure story with audio narration, character voices and coloring pages.

According to Forbes Magazine, there are more than a million apps at Apple’s App Store with more than 38 percent targeted toward children for education and adventure purposes, and thanks to the release of a new app called Super-Spies Adventures, parents across the globe will now be able to empower their children with an interactive adventure story with audio narration, character voices and coloring pages.

“Super-Spies is more than an adventure story,” said Nick Kime, spokesman for TouchActionApps LLC. “The storybook application reads the story out loud as kids read along with the text on screen.”

Kime explained that the newly releases app will allow children to enjoy the character voices as part of the story.

“The first book in the Super-Spies series introduces Martha and Sam who appear to be typical children,” Kime pointed out about the app, which can be downloaded at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/super-spies-adventures/id839417409?ls=1&mt=8.

The company spokesman went on to note that after their father tucks them into bed, they sneak out of the room and into their Super Secret Super Spy lair.

“From their headquarters they receive information about the Evil Dr. Pinkeye’s plans to steal all the pet food,” Kime said. “This is the first of his many plans to become ruler of the world. It’s up to Martha and Sam to find Evil Dr. Pinkeye and save the world. There are coloring pages for each graphic in the story. The pages can easily be saved to the photo album.”

The launching of Super Spies Adventures could prove to have perfect timing.

In fact, according to a recent study conducted by Nelsen Research, a leading global information and measurement company, which provides market research, insights and data about what people watch and what people buy, more than 57 percent of children use tablets for adventure apps.

In addition, more than 80 percent of the best selling paid apps in the iTunes store, are created specifically for children under the category of education and adventure, and priced at $.99, the same price as Super Spies Adventures.

Kime stressed that what makes the Super Spies Adventures app different from everything else on the market is the fact that parents can have peace of mind knowing that although the apps is designed to be interactive and adventurous, it’s 100 percent safe and educational for children.

In a recent study conducted by PBS, apps have multiple educational benefits for children.

Apps for kids are specifically designed to maximize engagement and keep little ones learning without even realizing they are, the study revealed, before adding that, “with the right apps you are supporting the learning and development of young minds in an entertaining way.”

The study concluded that apps also help prepare kids for the future.

Technology isn’t going anywhere, and when children use age appropriate apps on devices such as the iPad, they are learning to use the tools that will become more and more part of daily life in the future, the study said.

“The educational aspect of our Super Spies Adventures app is that the text is displayed on screen and the narrator also reads the text out loud,” Kime said.

As to why parents should purchase and download Super Spies Adventures for their kids, Kime said, “We take a very different and innovative approach in creating applications. Instead of considering the graphics and strategy first we think about the physical actions and gestures.”
