Boulder based jewelry and clothing company Shasta Style is launching its online presence with an Etsy site featuring sacred feather adornments and accessories. Shasta Style will also have their jewelry and tribal-inspired clothing lines available at the Sneak Preview Screenings of the new feature film The Last Avatar in Boulder at the eTown Studio (downstairs) on Dec 6-7 and 13-14, 2014 – showtimes at 2, 4:30 and 7pm. Shasta Style feather earrings are available year-round for sale at the chic boutique Umba in Boulder. Shasta Style supports and sells other local Boulder clothing lines including Pacha Play.
Shasta Style creator Sharron Rose is an acclaimed film maker, author (“The Path of the Priestess; A Guidebook for Awakening the Divine Feminine”), choreographer, teacher and co-stars in and produced The Last Avatar. She originally designed feather adornments for the film and became inspired to create a line of jewelry and clothing to help awaken the inner Divine Feminine and enhance the Light Body, major themes of the film.
Shasta Style supports local cottage industry in Crestone, Colorado, contracting primarily with single mothers and other at-risk women to create the bold and beautiful jewelry designed by Rose. Specifically, it is Rose’s desire to support the small, local economy of Crestone, called Shambala of the Rockies for its proclivity towards Spiritual growth and practices ranging from Zen Buddhism, to Hinduism and Christian Gnosticism.
