Graz, Austria, December 03, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The SunnyBAG Action Case, a new solar powered protection box, which makes it possible to charge your Action Cam, was launched on Indiegogo. Described as a sturdy, 3,15 Watt ecological friendly Energizer, the Action Case works with any USB-compatible device, more specifically the GoPro, which is charged within less than 100 min in direct sunlight.
“After using GoPro cameras and wearables frequently outdoors, we think it's the right time to invent a solar-powered protection case for GoPro lovers. The special feature of this Action Case is our integrated SunnyBAG solar-technology which makes it possible to charge your GoPro with sunlight.“ – Stefan Ponsold, Founder.
What is more, the Google Glass and Smartwatch will have their battery fully charged in less than one hour. Also Smartphones, digicams, wearables, GPS devices are compatible with the smart Action Case and can be stored in the internal space.
Six moths of product development have paid off
The first idea for realizing the Action case was born in May 2014 and it was developed by the adventurous SunnyBAG team in order to create a weatherproof solar powered gadget, going to be loved by all outdoor enthusiasts. The resistent 9,45x6,9x2,8 inch weather-proof SunnyBAG Action Case comes with one cavity for any Action cam made of polyurethane and 4 additional cavities for battery packs and other camera accessories. Besides the advantage of charging electronic devices directly outdoors, SunnyBAG offers a PowerStick, which stores the solar energy. By simply using the charged PowerStick, Action Case owners can use the energy at any later point of time.
Special entry price for Indiegogo backers
The SunnyBAG team decided to take the Action Case project to the Indiegogo community to attract solar energy supporters,early-adopters as well as to provide Indiegogo backers exclusive savings before launching the product in retail. Pledges will be accepted until Dec 31st, during which GoPro lovers can pre-order one of the first SunnyBAG Action Cases, prices starting from $59 (MSRP retail $129). They will be the first to hold a SunnyBAG Action case in their hands and save up to 120% before the product will be launched in retail.
SunnyBAG was launched by Stefan Ponsold in Graz, Austria, with an idea of creating solar bags for Doctors Without Borders, a concept that has never been existed before.
