Independent and Fulwell 73 Announce Start of Shoot for LEVEL UP, 1st March 2015

LONDON, March 06, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Principal Photography on Level Up started on 1st March 2015 in London. The film is directed by award winning short filmmaker Adam Randall.

Level Up is a contemporary London-set thriller; Run Lola Run meets Taken.
Josh Bowman, from Golden Globe and People’s Choice Award nominated ABC TV hit series Revenge, and Neil Maskell (Kill List, Pusher, and the upcoming High-Rise) star in the fast-paced, high concept thriller following a young man who, over the course of 24 hours, must make his way across London, fighting off a host of mysterious and sinister characters to save his kidnapped girlfriend.

The script was written by Adam Randall and Gary Young (Harry Brown,The Tournament).

Central London locations include Camden, Soho, Chinatown and Stratford.
LEVEL UP is an Independent and Fulwell 73 Production.

Andrew Orr (Independent), Danny Potts (DP Film) and Heather Greenwood (Fulwell 73) produce.

MATT and ANNA are a young couple living in London. Despite the usual problems stemming from the pressures of modern life, they have all the chances in the world for a happy life.

Then one morning masked thugs break into the flat and kidnap Anna before assaulting Matt, locking him into a mysterious vest and leaving him a mobile phone. Matt is told the vest contains a package which he must deliver by following instructions issued to him via the mobile phone. If he fails, tries to seek help, or deviates from their instructions, they will kill Anna.

Over the course of one day Matt has to make his way across London as a host of characters attempt to derail him from his mission to save Anna.
LEVEL UP is set for release 2016.

Adam Randall
Adam Randall, has directed many award winning short films, including “Hooded” and “Easier Ways”, both of which went on to win various awards, and were sold for broadcast internationally. Over the last few years, he has directed programmes and content for Channel 4, ITV, Channel 5 as well as Microsoft, the Home Office, “Resident Evil” and many more. He has recently completed a short film for Bombay Sapphire, which was screened at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival.
