Review: Twenty-five years ago, the reflow soldering technology was still at the start of its development. The successful idea of managing director Johannes Rehm gave the industry a decisive boost in 1990. He designed small reflow soldering systems that made particularly stable soldering processes possible with easily accessible, easily opened and gas-proof processing chamber, and are also very easy to maintain. This innovation soon attracted the interest of some renowned customers.
Supreme quality as the guarantee of success - at national and international level
Rehm has since been on a course of expansion. More than 450 creative minds now work for the company worldwide and the product portfolio is also growing. Today, it includes, in addition to reflow soldering systems with convection, condensation and vacuum, also drying and coating systems, cold and warm function test systems and systems for the metallisation of solar cells. With the realisation of individual special systems that are tailored specifically to customer requirements, Rehm has also made a name for itself internationally. Today, with its production sites in Germany and China as well as 26 representations in 24 countries around the globe, the company is an established player and technology leader in the production of efficient machines for the cost-effective production of electronic sub-assemblies.
