Singapore, September 25, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- EPI takes the lead again, releasing the first and only competence framework in the world for data centres. EPI has made its Data Centre Competence Framework (EPI-DCCF©) free for download.

We have often been asked, ‘Do you have descriptions of the job roles and skills requirements for professionals working in and around the data centre?’ So, this year, we put our heads together and updated our internal framework, which is the core of our data centre training programs. Based on the knowledge of our team of global data centre consultants, we gave it a fresh layout and presentation to make it an easy to understand document.”
The EPI-DCCF© lists all the competence requirements for the data centre industry. It is applicable to any type of data centre being a cloud, enterprise or hosting provider, whether all internal resources, fully outsourced or a combination of the two models.
Data centre operators/owners can use the EPI-DCCF© to plan their resource requirements and establish well defined job descriptions including competence requirements and recommended training to ensure that data centre professionals, their managers and HR departments have well designed career plans and can be confident that their data centre staff is up to the task.
