Newport, South Wales, October 14, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Tuesday the 13th of October will mark Charlotte Packaging’s one year anniversary of our move to Wales. This was a huge occasion for us and has paid off handsomely!
After 14 years of travelling back and forth between Gloucester and Wales, we made the tactical decision to eliminate the time, expense and exhaustion and move the company to Wales. One year later and we’re doing great!
Bigger and Better
We’ve gained a lot of things from our move to Wales, with the company benefiting greatly from the time and financial aspects that were previously spent on commuting.
Our new premises is much bigger and benefits from having a warehouse on site. This allows us to store a range of stocked items and raw materials, enabling us to expand the range of products we offer.
Thanks to increased space and due to having a greater demand for our services, we have recruited additional office and warehouse staff. Our sister company, Charlotte Express Packaging, has relocated also into the same premises which has helped to improve operations for both companies.
Proud to be Welsh
Charlotte Packaging is delighted to be able to call ourselves a truly Welsh business. With all members of staff living in Wales and now having both businesses found in Pontypool, we’re as Welsh as they come.
We’d like to thank Torfaen Council, particularly Gaynor Wakeling and Dan Morris, for their help in providing financial support that assisted us in bringing Charlotte Packaging to Wales. While we’re dishing out thanks, we’d like to give the Welsh Man with a Van a mention, as he was brilliant in assisting our move to Pontypool and have since established a great working relationship.
Tony, Managing Director of Charlotte Packaging, said: “As a company, we are benefiting from the drive for business that’s being promoted by Business Wales. This is proving to be very inspirational and works to engender national pride by bringing Welsh business back to Wales.”
Marking the Day!
We are celebrating with cake, naturally, provided by our Star Baker Catherine.
