Frankfurt/Main, Germany, November 4, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Version 4.0 of the conversion software "3D Evolution" from the German-French software developer Core Technologie is immediately available. The completely new and unique graphics concept of the current software particularly excels by a maximum display speed as well as a very easy use. The individual modules of this innovative tool are clearly arranged in an App style as with smart phones or tablets, so that only functions will be displayed which are relevant for the relevant task. That way, even complex tasks can be carried out with a few clicks. The new conversion software takes a leading role with the possibility of smartly converting 3D models with a construction history as well as the related 2D drawings.
The core of the software and the interfaces have been updated and functionally extended for the 4.0 version. So with native formats, it is possible to read out the construction history, all feature information and product manufacturing information (PMI) as well as meta data. The interfaces especially developed by CoreTechnolgie for data conversion work CAD license free, allowing maximum independence and cost reduction, because the individual CAD systems for exchanging native CAD files like Catia V5 and V6, NX, Creo, Solidworks as well as JT, PDF and STEP models are not needed. With B-REP models, the conversion takes place with data analysis according to VDA 4955/2 as well as automatic healing and manual data repair.
The technologically uniquely feature-based module allows additionally the the conversion of completely processed models with history and parametric. For CATIA V5 towards NX, the transfer of associative 2D drawings is also possible for the first time.
The software has already been certified by Daimler and correspond to the Daimler-conform JT conversion. The current version is thus of particular interest for suppliers who can equally exchange native CAD and JT data using the software. When exchanging JT data, PLMXML and JT with XT-Brep and level of data are generated. To optimize data quality, healing is used in case of problematic source data. Adaptive conversion to generate standard surfaces such as cylinders, tori, cone and planar surfaces from pure Nurbs data ensures optimal further processing of JT data.
For the description of the assembly structure, the new software already has the new STEP AP 242 XML format which will be used in the future. Moreover, so-called "Monikers" are supported which allow uniform surface identification in the JT models. Here the same surfaces of the JT models always keep the same identification also in case of changes to the source data and thus have a consistent identification during the whole process. The JT Checker Module from 3D Evolutions checks JT data for all relevant criteria, identifies the presence and consistency of the monikers and can also correct the JT data in addition.
Moreover, the modularly designed software suite offers revised functions for the generation of a shell geometry to protect 3D data from product piracy. The DMU analyse functions such as collision considerations, model comparison and gap dimension control have been supplemented with analyses for mould making such as wall thickness check, undercut checking and mould incline analysis as well as calculation of the projected planes, and they are also available in the 3D Analyser Viewer of the software manufacturer.
The additional module of "Enterprise Data Manager" has also been updated for the version 4.0 of the conversion software 3D Evolution. The supplementary tool allows a multiprocessor batch calculation of extremely large amounts of data within a very short time on a single machine or in a cluster.
