Local Accounting Firm To Help Host Annual Food Drive
Abalos & Associates, P.C. To Assist St. Mary’s Food Bank In “Hill of Beans” Food Drive

Phoenix –Abalos & Associates, P.C., is hosting the eighth annual “Hill of Beans” Food Drive along with St. Mary’s Food Bank through August 22nd. Participants can drop off bagged or canned beans at Abalos & Associates’ office, located at 7150 North 16th Street. For the past five summers, St. Mary’s Food Bank has turned to Abalos & Associates for assistance in soliciting more than 20,000 pounds of bean donations annually for the charity event.

“The summer months are a difficult time for St. Mary’s Food Bank because with more children out of school and food donation in short supply, their supply of
nonperishable food is depleted more quickly,” said Cheryl Folkerth, manager at Abalos & Associates, P.C. “We feel the “Hill of Beans” Food Drive is a fun and
unique way to help St. Mary’s provide nutritious food to the less fortunate in the area.”
