DTI and Tree C Technology B.V. (VR4MAX®) Enter Into Agreement

Released on = August 7, 2004, 9:34 am

Press Release Author = Chris Lagergren, DTI

Press Release Summary = Rochester, NY – August 7, 2004 – Dimension Technologies Inc.
(DTI) announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Tree C Technology
of Belgium for representation of their VR4MAX® software platform in the United
States. VR4MAX® software allows 3ds max® and Autodesk® VIZ users to transform their
designs into interactive virtual models. Once the models are in VR4MAX®, they can
be displayed and manipulated in real-time on DTI’s Virtual Window™ displays. The
DTI Virtual Window™ allows the viewer to see Real-Depth 3D™ without the use of
special glasses or headgear.

Press Release Body = ‘This partnership will allow us to bring significant value to
customers of both Discreet and Autodesk by providing an out-of-the-box 2D/3D
visualization solution for 3ds max® and Autodesk® VIZ users. Models and designs can
now be reviewed in Real-Depth 3D™ early on in the design process, allowing products
to get to market faster, through shorter design cycles. Architectural designs can
now be reviewed in Real-Depth 3D™ by the architect and by the customer for changes
and final approval. VR4MAX® Conferencing will allow users, at multiple locations,
to interact and see the same models in real-time, in Real-Depth 3D™. Our Virtual
Window™ 2D/3D displays allow users to see 3D without the use of special glasses or
headgear. Real-Depth 3D™ is the terminology we use for seeing things as they were
meant to be seen, as you would in the real world, in 3D. Ordinary computer displays
only show objects in two dimensions, with DTI technology and VR4MAX® we allow t
he third dimension to be displayed. This gives the user a heightened sense of
reality, where objects appear to come off the screen and go into the screen,” said
Chris Lagergren, manager of business development at DTI.

DTI and Tree C Technology will be demonstrating this exciting new technology at ACM
Siggraph 2004 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California August
10-12, 2004. Tree C Technology will be demonstrating its Interactive Virtual
Reality software
VR4MAX® on a Compaq Mobile Workstation nw8000 in the Hewlett
Packard booth, #919. DTI will be demonstrating VR4MAX® on its 2015XLS Virtual
Window™ display in the 3D Consortium booth, #1015.

The capabilities of VR4MAX® Conferencing will also be demonstrated between Hewlett
Packard’s booth and the 3D Consortium booth utilizing a wireless network.
