In addition to the economic impact that his comments have already had on Greater Fort Lauderdale, his rhetoric has created divisions and fears that did not previously exist.

Mayor Naugle has a history of making disparaging comments about other communities in our city.

His recent comments clearly show him to be an irresponsible public official.

UNITE Fort Lauderdale calls upon the other four members of the City Commission to formally censure the Mayor and make clear that the City of Fort Lauderdale rejects Mayor Naugle's divisive tactics and rhetoric.
