Although it will take some months to fully integrate Mr. Kulhavy's files, clients will immediately benefit from Mr. Kulhavy's new association with Moetteli & Associates. The combined staff makes up one of the most international firms in Switzerland and the firm in Europe having the most licensed US patent attorneys-at-law at one locale. Now Mr. Kulhavy's clients need no longer travel to New York for the advice of experienced US Patent Attorneys and can talk directly with their US agents here in St. Gallen.

Mr. Kulhavy was an Examiner and Patent Judge in the Patent Office in Prague for 10 Years, where the Patent Office handled cases in the same manner as the European Patent Office. Further, Mr. Kulhavy offers 20 years of IP experience in St. Gallen, 40 years total in Switzerland, and he is an extensive writer in the IP field. Still further, despite his academic activities, Mr. Kulhavy is in touch with client needs: he is president, and an active participant in the Inventor's Assembly in Switzerland, that has monthly meetings in St. Gallen. Further, given Mr. Kulhavy's multiple registrations, not only can Moetteli & Associates offer direct US, Swiss, and European patent filing and prosecution services, the firm can offer direct European Community trademark and design filings as well as patent, design and trademark filings in the Czech Republic.
