Jet Airways And American Airlines Announce Frequent Flyer Partnership Programme

Press Release Summary: February 15, 2008: Jet Airways, India's premier airline, and American Airlines are proud to announce a frequent flyer partnership programme, effective today.
Press Release Body: With this reciprocal accrual and redemption partnership, Jet Airways' JetPrivilege, India's largest frequent flyer programme, will now have 12 international airline partners on which its members can earn and redeem their JPMiles.

This Frequent flier Partnership along with the codeshare benefits will enhance the travel options for our Jet Privilege members who will now be able to earn and redeem miles on a wider network."
With the announcement of the Jet Airways-American Airlines frequent flyer partnership programmes, JetPrivilege members flying on eligible American Airlines flights anywhere on the latter's network will now be able to earn and redeem their JPMiles. Similarly members of American Airlines frequent flyer programme, AAdvantage, will be able to earn and redeem miles on eligible flights on the entire Jet Airways network.*
Apart from the Frequent Flyer Programme partnership, JetPrivilege members can also accrue JPMiles when flying on codeshare flights marketed by Jet Airways and operated by American Airlines between New York's John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland, Dallas (Fort Worth), Raleigh-Durham and Washington (Reagan).
Similarly, AAdvantage members can earn miles on American Airlines marketed and Jet Airways operated flights between New Delhi and Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
