Search Engine Launches Weather Resource

Press Release Summary: The Weather resource on SpivO is now live. SpivO Weather is
the first channel to be launched in almost two weeks.

Press Release Body: As SpivO's team of technical experts work around the clock to
get the SpivO Mail service back online, the search engine's ability to launch the
new channels has become a little off schedule. In spite of that, SpivO has now
launched SpivO Weather.

The SpivO Weather channel ( offers a graphical weather
outlook of any region after the user types in a postal code or city name. The
channel utilizes data from the Weather Channel's database.

In an effort to add an additional benefit for the SpivO users, SpivO Weather users
can use the interactive SpivO Weather, based on the same technology used in the
interactive SpivO News channel.

Weather video feeds are streamed into the channel and updated twenty-four hours a
day with video news reports from local news channels across America and national
weather reports from sources such as the Associated Press. SpivO's Weather resource
is completely new to the SpivO Network. The network did not have weather information
until this year's upgrade.

SpivO's Jack Thomas explained, "We like creating new channels with useful
information or innovative concepts. However, there are some services, like weather
information, that visitors just expect from an online resource. I feel like we've
integrated necessary content in a clean, simple layout with moderate graphical

SpivO does have plans to integrate the information into other locally targeted
channels like SpivO Movie Times (scheduled to launch this week) and the SpivO search
