transportation execution platform to manage and communicate with its carriers. The
complete project implementation was finished in eight months for a full roll-out.

Transportation execution involves a combination of complex workflows and heavy
communication with a large partner network. Carmeuse Lime and Stone was seeking a
Supply Chain execution solution that would deliver substantial value.
The main driver for choosing Transwide was the ease of implementation offered by the
various modules, either as stand alone SaaS web based formats, or as fully
integrated solutions.

# Carmeuse Lime and Stone implemented twCall-off, Transwide's electronic load
tendering tool, primarily to reduce the administrative workload, avoid cost
inefficiency and data entry errors. This allows Carmeuse Lime and Stone to have a
more accurate and centralized overview of outgoing flows and to increase visibility
and collaboration.
# Carmeuse Lime and Stone also selected Transwide's appointment scheduling tool
(twSlot) to streamline the truck flow at their manufacturing sites.
# twDoc electronically transmits and archives all Carmeuse Lime and Stone's "Proof
of Delivery" (POD). It allows availability of the e-PODs in less than 48 hours after
delivery.
# Finally, TrackandTrace (twTrace) enables Carmeuse Lime and Stone to monitor all
its shipments in real time through exception management. Carmeuse Lime and Stone is
able to react immediately to a situation and improve customer satisfaction.
