The Bard is back this summer at the Historic Old Vic and
HotelTravel.com is producing superb London hotel deals in his honour.
The Old Vic in London is hosting The Bridge Project, featuring a double helping of
two fantastic Shakespearean plays: 'As You Like It' and 'The Tempest'.
The Bridge Project was conceived and is directed by Academy Award-winning director
(for American Beauty in 1999) of stage and screen, Sam Mendes.

The goal is to produce large-scale, classical theatre for international audiences.
The Bridge Project 2010 kicked off in New York in January and visits Asia and Europe
before arriving in London at The Old Vic in June.
Book your tickets now for the fantastic new production of 'As You Like It',
starring Michelle Beck, Christian Camargo, Ron Cephas Jones, Stephen Dillane and
Juliet Rylance. The show runs from 12 June to 21 August with opening night on 23
June.
'The Tempest' features Tony Award-winning actor Stephen Dillane taking on the role
of Prospero. He's joined by Christian Camargo, who plays Ariel, and Juliet Rylance
as Miranda. Opening night is also on 23 June, with the show running from 18 June to
21 August.
HotelTravel.com Chief Information Officer, Olivier Dombey, said that taking in a
live theatre performance in such a historic venue would be an amazing addition to
any city break to London.
“Going to the theatre in London is a must for any visitor to the city.
“Having said that, the opportunity to see two of Shakespeare’s classic plays at the
Old Vic Theatre with such a talented director and cast is a unique chance of a
lifetime.
“Visitors planning a trip to London this summer really should try and get tickets
to both of these outstanding productions,” he added.
From the Waterloo Underground Station it is only a short walk to the Old Vic, which
is on the corner of the Cut and Waterloo Road. It can also be easily reached by bus
or taxi.
