DirectRooms.com can announce that Australian musician,
songwriter and comedian Tim Minchin has confirmed that he will tour the
United Kingdom and perform his biggest live show to date in Aberdeen.
The tour will bring Minchin to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on the
20th of April 2011.
As a UK based artist, Minchin is well-known for performing in front of sell-out
crowds around the world. The show in Aberdeen will consist of brand new songs as
well as well-known classics. The performance of Minchin will be enhanced by a
55-piece orchestra.
Minchin is most well known for his work with the Royal Shakespeare Company’s new
musical version of Roald Dahl’s ‘Matilda’ and is a radio performer on BBC Radio 2,
starring in a comedy sitcom. His acclaimed 9-minute beat poem ‘Storm’ is being made
into an animated feature to be released in October.
The show is certain to include comedy, music and songs, creating an evening of
entertainment for all those wishing to see an acclaimed songwriter and comedian in
action.
Tickets for this event cost £35 GBP plus booking fee.
