House of Fraser, the premium department store, has launched
its new collection of wedding and bridal wear online.
The department store now offers its collection of bridal and wedding wear online at houseoffraser.co.uk.
New for Spring Summer 2011, House of Fraser has also added a range of limited
edition Biba dresses to its collection of wedding dresses and wedding shoes.
Following the successful re-launch of iconic fashion brand Biba for Autumn Winter
2010, the label adds a romantic string to its bow with the Biba Bride collection.
Taking inspiration from the heritage of Biba,
and translated for today's modern bride, Biba Bride caters for the confident,
fashion-conscious woman.
Customers will only find this collection at House of Fraser. They can browse the
seven wedding dresses online, along with the other seasonal collections from Biba. With an abundance of
style and romance, the limited edition collection features different styles and a
selection of cover-ups including luxurious feather, marabou capes and glamorous faux
fur stoles.
Biba Bride fans can choose from a long-sleeved winter dress to an alternative and
contemporary shorter summer dress for their special day at any time of year. Keeping
in line with the traditional bridal tones, the Biba Bride dresses are subtle and
sophisticated, using a palette of soft ivory, buttermilk and blush tones.
The focus on embellishment gives the Biba Bride collection a vintage feel, whilst
silhouettes are feminine and fluid creating an understated sex appeal.
The collection is a limited edition, exclusive to House of Fraser. There are only
100 dresses made in each style, so every bride can be safe in the knowledge that
their Biba Bride dress is a limited piece of luxury for themselves, and perhaps
future generations, to enjoy.
Biba Bride dresses are timeless and are designed to be treasured and cherished. Each
dress is named in celebration of someone who embodies the spirit of Biba and
encapsulates the personality of each dress: 'LILY' (Allen) - Ivory silk chiffon
dress is a sheer detail panelled bodice and full skirted with crystal embellishment.
'LILY' also comes in a modern, shorter version for the warmer summer months.
'CHLOE' (Sevigny) - Sand silk chiffon is a one shoulder cornelli embellished
bodice with waterfall skirt detail for an ultra-feminine look.
Brides-to-be who are in search for a classic and sophisticated look will love the
bell sleeve dress with plunge back and cornelli trim detailing, aptly named
'ALEXA' (Chung) - Vintage ivory. 'ZOE' (Kravitz) - Vintage ivory silk chiffon
dress is an intricate and beautiful pearl embellished bodice with chiffon strap
detail. 'AMBER' (Le Bon) - Vintage ivory is a 'Deco' embellished halter-neck
dress with a glamorous plunge back and 'DAISY' (Lowe) - Ivory chiffon is perfect
for the girly bride. It's a romantic and dreamy pleated bandeau dress with fan
pearl embellishment detail for that extra sparkle.
The latest collection of Biba fashion, Biba bridal and designer dresses is
available to view online at houseoffraser.co.uk.
